Squarespace Website
Originally I built out a website for Dark Tones on Squarespace because, after doing some research, it seemed to be extremely user-friendly and had a smaller learning curb than other platforms. This was extremely important for my client because he wanted something he could quickly pick up and easily manage once the site launched. Unfortunately, we ran into some issues when it came to linking some of the payment platforms my client was comfortable using, and inevitably Squarespace fell short of support, so we switched gears to Shopify. Accumulatively, Squarespace had some stunning templates to work from. I loved the user interface for clients who had little to no understanding of web building; however, when it comes to e-commerce websites, Shopify is more reliable. Shopify also has a decent amount of templates to work from, and though the learning curb is a little bit more, it met all my client's needs.
